40 Days to a Joyful Motherhood | Devotions and Coloring Book to Nourish Mom

20160924_150152The devotional coloring book is amazing! and may just a must have for all moms! We as moms, just some alone time to give ourselves a break. Being a mom is tough….it doesn’t come with a manual.

I have complete this devotion and coloring book and I need more! I loved spending my time reading my devotional of the day and getting some coloring time in. It was the perfect quiet time for myself.

Wouldn’t it be marvelous if mothering came with a concrete set of instructions—an easy recipe we could follow? Instead, motherhood challenges women to find their faith, their true selves, and their family through daily doses of trial and error. It is a brilliant and healing time of life that is full of joy, pain, and beauty with a small side of crisis (and humor). What mothers do not know, they learn. And through this lifelong process of learning, they nurture and care for the most precious gifts on earth: children.

Each of the devotions in this book will take you maybe 10 minutes. They focus on six key topics:

  • self-acceptance
  • self care
  • reconciling with grief
  • hope and expectations
  • generosity
  • presence
  • forgiveness

Each devotion also comes with a hand-drawn illustrations for you to color in. Just grab your favorite set of

colored pencil and get your “me” time. I do not suggest using markers or gel pens because the pages are on the thin side and those medias will show through the pages. The drawing are sketchy and so much fun to color. The drawings are filled with hearts, flowers, doodles and just simple little things.
