Scripture Doodles

20161120_152438These books are so much more than adult coloring books. I love how the author, April Knight, gives you step-by-step instructions and encouragement! I love doodling so these books are perfect for me. I love all of the devotional prompts and scripture throughout the book. These books would also make great gifts!

ScriptureDoodle: A Six-Week Devotional Experience

There are enough devotions in the book to last you 6 weeks! Each devotion has a subject. For example….one is about Emojis. There is scripture, a short “devotion” and an activity for you to complete on the next page. They want you to scripturedoodle using only emojis for your favorite scripture.

More than a coloring book, ScriptureDoodle is a combination of Bible study, creative expression, and artistic community with artwork shared online at #scripturedoodle. Exploring topics such as being generous, finding rest, and facing grief, ScriptureDoodlegives the heart the creative space it needs. This book stimulates the reader’s imagination and helps integrate God’s Word into everyday life.

ScriptureDoodle God’s Promises: A Six-Week Devotional Experience

This one has the same layout, but the devotions are about God’s Promises to us. There is one devotion is the book about Revelation 3:20. They want you to draw a “Welcome” door and decorate it….making sure to use Revelation 3:20 on the door.

ScriptureDoodle God’s Promises refreshes believers who are feeling burned out or stuck in a rut in their relationship with God. Each of the creative worship prompts in this interactive guide includes biblical encouragement and ideas for worship through art. Artist April Knight includes creative lettering tips, color ideas, and completed examples to inspire readers to respond to promises in Scripture related to trust, faith, and the power of God’s Word in all circumstances.

Both of these books are amazing and are filled with lots of devotions for you to complete and get your creativity going with spending time with God. I love these books and plan to gift some to friends.
